Child safeguarding

Our commitments

• We never publish a child’s full legal name, address, school, phone number, birth certificate or family contact details.
• Public profiles show only an approved name, an age range, a general region, a short story and — only with consent — a photo.
• Nothing becomes public automatically. Every profile, photo and update is approved by staff first.
• Sponsors and children never message each other directly. Every message and reply is read by staff before it is delivered.
• Messages containing phone numbers, addresses, emails, social-media accounts or plans to meet are blocked.
• Children never have access to financial records, staff notes or other children’s information.
• Staff can suspend anyone’s messaging at any time, and every message is kept in a permanent record.
• Agreeing to photos or storytelling is always optional and never affects a child’s support.
