Home Art Collection (HAC)
The gallery comes to you.
An international art advisory and U.S. showroom for contemporary artists from Rwanda and across East Africa — and a home for handmade goods by the women of Mama Rwanda.
Home Art Collection (HAC) is part of Irembo Foundation’s wider work to create lasting support for its programs. HAC serves as an international art advisory and U.S. showroom, presenting contemporary artwork by partnering artists from Rwanda and across East Africa through exhibitions, art shows, and private presentations.
The showroom also showcases and sells products made by women in Mama Rwanda, an Irembo Foundation project where women learn vocational skills and create handmade goods with a distinctive African touch. Income from sales of their products goes back to the women, helping them support their families through their own work.
Forty percent of artwork sales support Irembo Foundation’s activities.
In this way, HAC gives partnering artists a place to show and sell their work, gives Mama Rwanda artisans access to customers and income, and helps sustain the Foundation’s work.
