Mama Rwanda Vocational Training Center
A practical campus designed around mothers and children. The center will combine market-linked vocational training with childcare, so single mothers can learn skills and build an income while their children are cared for nearby.

Why this center matters
Mama Rwanda already trains single mothers in sewing, weaving and tailoring, in a small workshop. A permanent center lets many more women learn skills that local markets need — and because childcare is built in, mothers can attend every class. The design principle is simple: skills + childcare + dignity + enterprise.
What the center will include

Tailoring and textiles
A flexible workshop for sewing, pattern work and building a textile business.

Digital skills and entrepreneurship
A connected lab for computer skills, money management and starting a business.

Food processing and catering
A clean, well-ventilated kitchen for food preparation, processing, packaging and catering.

Childcare and courtyard
Childcare and a protected courtyard help mothers attend every class, knowing their children are safe.
Also planned: hair and beauty training, crafts and enterprise studio, reception, counseling and administration — all on one accessible, single-storey campus around a protected courtyard.

Help build the center
Every gift brings the first classes closer. Businesses, foundations and churches can also fund a room, a program or the land.
The images on this page are architectural concept visualizations of the proposed center, not photographs of a completed building. Design and budget are at concept stage for donor planning; final drawings, permits and costs will be prepared and certified by licensed Rwandan professionals after land checks and surveys.
